This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.bamae.co.uk (the “Site”).

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. (Display advertising)
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, if you have previously purchased goods or services from us we may provide to you details of similar goods or services, or other goods and services, that you may be interested in (retargeting/remarketing)

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

This does not automatically include emails informing you of new products, restocked inventory, special offers or promotions. If you would like to opt-in for any emails regarding this, you will need to provide us with your consent (which you can do at checkout or when subscribing to our various lists/notifications/updates via our website newsletter/stock forms).

 

PAYMENT INFORMATION

We do not hold or even have access to any of your sensitive payment information (card details, CVV codes, bank account details, etc). Your payments during checkouts are handled exclusively by PCI-DDS-compliant secure online payment gateways, powered by Shopify Payments, via PayPal, via Klarna or via Amazon.

 

KLARNA  

In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass to Klarna certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. We us Searchinise Intelligent Search Engine Software to provide you with advanced, dynamic and tailored search functionality when browsing our website (site search, product categories and recommendation widgets). Searchinise is fully GDPR compliant and shares no personally identifiable information, merely places cookies on your device to tailor search and recommendations to you, and to improve the functionality and convenience of site search over time (it's learning software). We can opt you out of certain elements of this service, but site functionality will be adversely affected.
